To all of you Zanzibar folks who know Zarina & Zera Jafferji, you will be pleased to know they have a few wonderful shops on the Island of Zanzibar and if you visit, do not miss going to their curio shop on the High Street next to our Post Office.
Their enterprising family also produce the best books on Zanzibar and a wonderful cookery book advertising all the hotels with their best recipies. (Betty has a copy). Check out all the other books.
Besides all this, do click on their website below and check out their own hotel right in the heart of Stone Town where you will enjoy first class treatment with wonderful friendly management staff just as friendly as the Jafferji sisters.
The Jafferji sisters have up to this date kept in touch with all of us Zanzibaris residing in the UK and abroad, and always make time to meet up when possible.

It is a pleasure to receive your email.
I am sorry to hear that Betty was not well recently and hope her hip operation will get better soon. I am sure Javed will have no objection to add his post cards and books on your website. I will request Javed to send you scan copies to you direct.
Javed is at present in Karachi and will communicate with you soon.
I have been thinking to organise a small get together at my place for old time sake.
